



The 11th session of the PA+ series discusses the recent project Renewal of Public Green Space around the Ordos Youth Center; Landscape architect Wang Xiaochun shared the design strategy and thoughts about this pocket park for youth and came up with questions about parks’ layout method in the urban view. This public green space is 3.59ha, around the Youth Center from the east, north, and courtyard in three sections. The concept is the Flower Malan (Iris lacteal Pall), symbolized in Hope and Power, which is used in the layout plan of the space pursuit of an open and boundaryless area. Leisure facilities are posited between the three circulation systems: expansion air loop corridor, mini fitness runway, and ecology fitness runway.
