PLAT ASIA has completed the first steppe resort, which opened on 18th Jul. It symbolizes a grand strategic framework for nature-based practices in PLAT ASIA, ranging from the desert to the Steppe and beyond. The steppe resort was designed and constructed from 2019 to 2021, through several schemes and strict climates, and architects traveled between the site and the company many times, over 500km every time.
The steppe resort aims to present an aesthetics of the Steppe and native culture. The natural elements of Wind, Cloud, Water, Grass, and Sky, inspired by architect Bian Baoyang, are integrated within the Wind Installation, expressing the culture of the Steppe and attracting citizens to the hospitable place and the wild Steppe, where they can experience the nomadic lifestyle.
