PLAT ASIA won the finalist award, one of five in the unbuilt hospitality category, at the 2021 Architizer A+ Awards for the Dujiangyan Forest Resort Hotel, designed in 2020. The A+ Awards are organized by Architizer, one of the world’s most influential architecture media platform. The 9th edition in 2021 attracted over four thousand projects to join the competition, and 300 projects were selected as finalists in 94 categories, including projects from around the world.
The Dujiangyan Forest Resort Hotel explores the concept of architecture and shape defined by its surroundings. The project is prepared for construction, designed by architect JUNG Donghyun and team during 2019-2020 for the architecture, interiors, and site design scheme.
