A renovation project scope, encompassing architecture, interiors, and landscape, recently broke ground at the seaside in Qinhuangdao, designed by a team led by architect JUNG Donghyun, and is expected to be completed this year. The design prioritizes function and experience as key concepts, featuring a transparent façade that faces the Bohai Sea view and a bridge that spans a viaduct to a pier. The entrance path turns upward through the forest, resolving the level difference on the site, and creates a vista path. Interiors create a pure and clear spatial atmosphere, providing a comfortable experience that allows all attention to the natural views, including the sea and forest.
