COLI Lushan West Sea Art Center (Renovation) has recently broken ground in Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province. PLAT ASIA designed the project scope for the site, architectural renovation, interiors, and landscape concept. The traditional journey sequence from the SHANSHUI Paintings inspired architect JUNG Donghyun in the design. The Art Center has an excellent view, neighbored by Lushan Mountain and the West Sea Scenic Area, situated in a lakeside grassland. The new site transformed the architecture into an approach to the SHANSHUI Painting, creating an interactive experience through the landscape wall. The Art Center integrated mixed-use, including exhibiting, conversing, reading, leisure, and viewing. It is predicted to be completed this year.
