The 2019 Asian Architectural Society Exchange Summit opened in Guiyang on 28th September. Under the subject of Make Architecture More Thoughtful, the summit invited architect JUNG Donghyun to make a speech titled “New Attitude to the Nature as the Architecture” and attended the discussion with Ban Shigeru, Dan Norihiko, Taku Hibino, and Shi Yandong, who are all Asian architects and educators, to talk about design thoughts and relationships between architecture and nature. This summit focuses on design strategies for nature, site, and surroundings across different terrains, the architects’ responsibilities, and scholarly studies to improve architectural design development.
