The Interior Design Magazine, Oct 2025 issue, reported the project Cloud Tea Room by Edie Cohen in the subject Intervention. It focuses on the teahouse as an amenity of a resort, creating a historical story and engaging with the surrounding nature for a tea event space.
The Cloud Tea Room has received widespread recognition globally since opening in 2023, featuring an incredible landscape and the realization of tea in space. As the architect JUNG Donghyun said, “The presence of fog was conceived as a means to sever all visual connection between the tearoom and the outside world, creating a realm where only people and tea exist. As the fog dissipates and one returns to the secular world, I hoped for a renewed perception of reality to arise.”
