PLAT ASIA completed the architecture and interior design for the Ordos Smart Transit Hub, which is under construction this year and is expected to open the first phase in 2026.
Principal architect Bian Baoyang derives the extraordinary texture of Pishayan (arsenic rock) in Ordos, shapes the building block from layered red rock rooted in Ordos’ context, and generates a dynamic volume that responds to circulation, including different types of vehicles.
