The fifth Design Beijing opened in the National Agricultural Exhibition Center from Apr 30th to May 3rd, 2019. Architect JUNG Donghyun, of PLAT ASIA, has been invited to participate in the exhibition. The installation Back to Primitiveness by the architects responds to the subject Design for Ourselves; regardless of the design language, it creates a semi-transparent space in glass brick that serves as a quiet moment in the complex exhibition hall for visitors and even as a meditation space. Architect JUNG Donghyun said the space is for both ourselves and everyone.
