PLAT ASIA invited architect Liu Lei from FADESIGN to give a topic speech at the sharing session “Modernity and Eastern” at the end of November. He talks about four directions of architectural and design thoughts. Architect JUNG Donghyun afterwards shared his concept XUTING and architectural works. During the discussion, architect Liu Lei, Jung Donghyun, and Bian Baoyang discuss the term “modernist architecture” in Eastern Asia, the realization of contemporary Eastern architecture, the overlooking of design in the future, and a new definition of the Field in architecture.
