PLAT ASIA’s interior project, the WangGuoWei Art Museum, is currently in the research and design phase. The clients, Haining Yanguang Ancient Town Tourism Company and Yanguan Resort Management and Service Center, organized a study tour and conference for the PLAT ASIA design team, which conversed with the Professor at Tsinghua University and scholars at the Wang Guowei Culture, for the design idea about the art museum and to trace Wang Guowei’s story in the campus of Tsinghua University.
Architect Bian Baoyang, architect Seungbo Ryu, designer Huang Yuqing, and the PLAT ASIA team, together with the coordinator, attended the conference alongside professors Hou Yuping, Luo Gang, and Wang Minan. During the discussion, the topic relates to the design concept, the sustainable exhibition plan scheme in contemporary museums, and the aesthetic thoughts of Wang Guowei. Professors proposed valuable advice and provided helpful inspiration for design.
