The team led by architect JUNG Donghyun designed the new Forest Restaurant project in 2021, which is currently under construction. The concept is rooted in nature, where the boundary between nature and architecture is blurred, allowing the new planting of trees and the original surrounding environment to coexist in a harmonious, approachable space for people’s experience. The forest is reflected in the ceiling, introducing nature into the interiors; at the same time, the wooden platform extends into the forest, bringing people outdoors—the interior communes with the landscape to create a harmonious, open dining space. The restaurant is predicted to open in August 2021.
