Aranya Zhenziwei Restaurant, designed by the team led by architect JUNG Donghyun in 2021, is located in Aranya Qinhuangdao. The project scope encompasses architectural renovation, interiors, and landscape design. Architects transformed the existing steel frame space into a restaurant and blended the original forest into the architectural experience. A dual-horizon plan defines the space, creating a conversation between nature and people in architecture, situated close to the forest, with a low-impact approach to sustainable thought and material utilization.
Well-known design media, including Gooood, Designcool, and Archello, have featured the project. Being selected in the Black Pearl Restaurant Guides, the restaurant has opened to the public during the near holiday.
