Baiyinkulun Volcano-In Visitor Center, designed by principal architect Bian Baoyang, is under construction and predicted to be completed this autumn; it will be prepared for the initial visitors.
The volcano-in visitor center is inspired by the origin of life, which was born with the volcanic eruption. The Baimao Wind, a unique local natural phenomenon, gives the building a dynamic shape; after analyzing the landscape, architects took the idea of wandering on the volcano’s ridge. During many investigations on site, architect Bian Baoyang designed the programming scheme, planning, and architecture, controlled the construction, and led the design team step by step to accomplish this architecture and resort that lived on earth.
