The Better China: Discover the Excellence Design Tour takes place at Aranya, Qinhuangdao; architect JUNG Donghyun is invited to make a speech, <XUTING and Sequence>, and guide the study tour teams to travel the Aranya Hidden Place Hotel, experiencing an immersed place and get the design background of the creation.
This hotel was completed and opened in one and a half years. It received many reviews and diverse discussions from the public. It has also been published in international journals and reported by global media. The lobby features Pavilions and a human-scaled streetscape, which is full of comfortable, pleasant, and nostalgic feelings for experiencing a public space at a hospitality hotel. The architects sought a contemporary and Eastern aesthetic.
