Beijing Universal Yipiao Hot Spring Hotel has recently broken ground. Architect JUNG Donghyun led the team PLAT ASIA to complete the interior design. The area is 5,000 sqm and includes public space and 43 guestrooms, serving for dining, entertaining, and living. The inspiration comes from local Beijing architectural elements—red walls and green roof tiles. Architects use them to evoke classic memories and cultural associations for visitors in Beijing, applying modern materials and design language to reinterpret the space’s spirit and enhance people’s hospitality experience. The hotel is expected to open this year.
