PLAT ASIA has designed the renovated Park Homeland in Memories of Ordos, which was completed and opened recently, hosted by landscape architect Zhang Xiaozhan, and Wang Xiaochun. The Park is in a slim site between two parallel urban roads, with a 7.1 ha area. The existing residents’ building relics, full of nostalgia, help revive people’s memories of their homeland. The design incorporates the existing forest and vegetation to rejuvenate the area. At the same time, the landscape serves multiple functions in the Citizen Park, connecting the past to the future in the homeland of memories.
