Ordos Smart Sports Park won the Gold Prize in the 2025 Asia Urban Renewal Awards. Landscape architect Zhang Xiaozhan, PLAT ASIA design director, attended the award ceremony in Shanghai, representing the design team, and also joined the second conference on adaptive reuse and renewal of existing buildings and spaces. PLAT ASIA featured the translation of local context into urban renewal practices and aims to create a positive public space that fosters participation and conversation between nature and urban space for people.
