Profile<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Donghyun JUNG, a Korean architect, is born in Seoul on 29, February in 1972. After receiving the Master Degree of Architecture at Hanyang University in Korea, he was invited by Japanese government to further study at University of Tokyo sponsored by postgraduate scholarship and got the Doctor Degree in 2008. During these days, Donghyun Jung came to work in China in 2004 as the design director for UAA, a famous design institute in Beijing. In 2010, he together with Baoyang Bian established the PLAT ASIA (formerly name PLaT Architects until 2016). Then he was appointed as the design director in RTKL Beijing, a well-known American design company. Now, he is the president of PLAT ASIA and principal architect.<\/p>\n

Engaging with the architecture, planning, and interiors design in China for twenty years, he has a deep research and experience in urban and human settlement design. He integrates zone coordination theory, regional architecture theory and organic renewal theory, address complexed problems in urban context and architecture design. Recently he practiced in the diverse nature surroundings and centralize in the harmony architecture experience between peoples and environment, and develop the eastern values into architectural design. Regard the existence of architecture as core subject in his works. The cultural projects feature with natural experience and humanity. Researching on the spiritual seeks for people in nowadays in the hospitality architecture at the natural and urban environment. Insist on the design philosophy achieve an un-daily, anti-city, un-normal spatial experience.<\/p>\n
