XIAOBANG Since 1999 Hunan Cuisine Restaurant recently is published on the well-known architecture media gooood, Archello and Interior Design China. The restaurant is in a street zone surrounded by high-rises in Changsha, China. Architects renovated the original parking into a water garden, which includes woods, waterscape, and walls, together create a new experience at the old place. And the garden resolved the negative influence of the noise and pressure on the streetscape. ISLAND’s core concept is presented in the garden and interiors, completing a whole scene of water and hills. The project has been running for one year and has received great user reviews.
