The Volcano-In Visitor Center was named a gold winner in the Mixed-Use Buildings category at the 2026 un Design Award, based in the USA. The visitor center mainly presents the volcano’s profile and discusses the interplay between architecture and the steppe & volcano landscape. It serves as a reception, dining, exhibition, performance, lookout, and educational facility for the Baiyinkulun Steppe and Volcano Tourism Resort.
