Xiaozhan ZHANG, a landscape architect and expert in landscape design for decades, holds the design principle that designs for people and returns to nature. He joined PLAT ASIA with his partner Wang Xiaochun in 2020, started practicing in the landscape, and led design for projects. His idea emphasizes the design of eventual services for people and belonging to nature. His landscape work contributes to a naturalized and personalized environment. He is skilled in parks, city street landscape, zone planning, etc. He completed a bachelor’s degree in landscape at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2006. He worked at famous landscape firms, including Shanghai Gardening – Landscaping, A+N Design, SIMO Landscape Architecture, and Huaweite Environmental Art.
